"Lady & Dog" Original
- Size: 100 x 100 cm ( 39 x 39 in )
- Materials: Oil on canvas (hand primed)
I painted this piece in the middle of a very loud year. Everything around me was asking for attention at once, and I kept returning to one quiet gesture: a woman turning away from all of it, holding the one thing she has chosen to be responsible for. Her back is open and unguarded, the dress is almost nothing, and yet she is entirely composed. That contradiction is the whole painting for me. The background is broken into long horizontal bands, the way days break into hours and obligations, while her silhouette stays continuous and unhurried, refusing to dissolve into the noise behind her.
The dog is not a detail. It is warmth held close, small and alive, the part of us that still needs tenderness while we keep performing competence. Her lowered eyes are not sadness. They are attention finally given to something that matters.
Brown runs through everything here. I love these earthy tones because they settle the eye and give the whole surface peace, balance, and harmony, so the black of the dress reads as elegance rather than absence.

«Crazy art... I say bravo! You've created a masterpiece with a story. People will want to see what was once there-this is style and art if.
Great work.»

«The white does not erase the image. It hides it while confirming its presence.»
